Undo and Reprocess Batch Menu Mix - Overview
The Undo and Reprocess Batch Menu Mix screen provides corporate users with an efficient process to delete and re-import Menu Mix data for multiple locations and dates in as single step. Even when a Menu Mix file has been imported successfully, a number of factors (incorrect recipe setup, unfinished receiving, etc.) could cause incorrect depletion of recipe components or result in Menu Mix data (viewed in the Menu Mix report, Inventory screens and reports, and in the Actual/Theoretical Cost reports) that is or appears to be flawed. This situation is not uncommon, especially in restaurants where the menu may be changed several times per year and new recipes are continually tested and introduced.
The Undo and Reprocess functionality is available only for Active locations and users performing these tasks must be linked to a hierarchy. Only Menu Mix data imported within the last 31 days can be undone. When the Undo process is complete, the selected locations and dates are combined into one batch undo transaction with a unique system-generated batch number. The Inbound Integrations module can be used to fix incorrect data in undone files prior to reprocessing them here in this screen. If Menu Mix data causes incorrect depletion due to improper recipe or product setup, this must be corrected in the Recipe or Company Products screen respectively prior to reprocessing.
This module can be used to perform the following tasks:
- Undo a Batch of Menu Mix Files
- Reprocess Selected Menu Mix Batches
- Reprocess Individual Menu Mix Files
- View Menu Mix Batch and File Details
