Undo a Batch of Menu Mix Files

In the Undo and Reprocess Batch Menu Mix screen, corporate users can undo Menu Mix files for multiple locations and dates in a single step. The "Undo" action deletes all Menu Mix data and reverses total depletion for a given day. A single file cannot be undone.

Note: In Connex environments, authorized users may select the Refresh POS Data button prior to starting this process. (Users with the "Undo and Reprocess Batch Menu Mix Summary: Refresh POS Data" User Group control enabled.) This button opens another screen in which the user can choose the locations to be refreshed. For information about the repoll process, click ClosedHERE.

  1. Under the Interfaces menu, select Undo and Reprocess Batch Menu Mix.
  1. Click the Begin Undo Menu Mix Batch button.
  1. Use the File Date Range Start/Finish controls to select the date range (within the last 31 days) for which to undo Menu Mix data.
  2. If necessary, use the Funnel (Filter) icon to filter the list. For example, you can select a parameter (Concept, Hierarchy, Market, User Defined Category) in the Location Filter drop-down, and then choose a specific option to filter by. You can also filter by any of the columns on the screen.
  3. Click Retrieve.
  4. In the Select Reason drop-down, choose a reason for the undo action. (See Reasons for Undo Menu Mix for details on how to add reasons to this list.)
  5. In the Enter Comments field, enter additional details for performing the undo action.
  6. Check the box in the Select column for each file to undo or check the Select All box in the column header to choose all of the locations/dates displayed.
  7. When ready, click the button to Undo Menu Mix for Selected Locations and Dates.
  8. A message will appear indicating the number of Location/Dates selected. Click OK to continue.
  9. A message will appear indicating that the Location/Dates are being undone. The undo process may take some time to complete, especially if large amounts of data are being deleted. In this case, the status of the batch will be "Undo in Progress". Once the process is completed successfully, for each Location/Date, the system will:
  • Delete the Menu Mix data from the database.
  • Reverse On-Hand depletion.
  • Restore the Dashboard task for "Missing Menu Mix Sales".
  • Create an Undo record for each file that is deleted and update the file status to "Undo Successful".
  • The selected locations and dates will be combined into one batch undo transaction with a unique system-generated batch number.
  1. Click the X (Close) icon to return to the Dashboard.

If the undo action cannot be performed for a Location/Date, the status of the batch will be "Undo with Errors" and the reason for this (the location has already posted, the file has already been undone, etc.) will be displayed in the Error column.
