Company Product Details: Nutrition

The Nutrition tab is used to assign nutritional information to company products by associating it with a Nutrition food product. This information can then be used to generate nutrition data for recipes.

 

1. Under the Products menu, click Company Products.
2. To edit a product record, click on the Product Name hyperlink.
3. Click the Nutrition tab.

• All tabs are visible by default. To show/hide a tab, click on the Menu icon and select the Tabs option.  From the pop-up menu, check to show or uncheck to hide the desired tab(s).

4. Click the Select Nutrition Product drop-down. If necessary, type a product description to filter the list of products displayed.

5. Click on the appropriate row in the drop-down to assign the nutritional information for the selected product to the company product.
6. For all products, nutrition values are stored per 100 grams of that product. These nutritional values must then be related to one of the pack types associated with the company product; this defaults to the Inventory Unit. If necessary, in the Conversion from Company Product Unit to Grams field, select a different pack type from the drop-down.
7. Enter the number of grams in the selected pack type (Common Conversions: 1 LB  =  453.60 grams; 1 OZ  =  28.3495 grams)  OR

1. You can click the Look up Conversion from Nutrition Product Record drop-down to see if the nutrition product has some conversions listed.

2. If so, click on the desired option to select it.

8. Click the Disk (Save) icon to save your changes.
9. To download and print these settings, click the Printer (Export) icon and select the desired options.
10. If necessary, click on any other tab as needed to configure settings on that tab. If not, skip to the next step.
11. When finished, click the X (Close) icon to return to the summary screen.
