Company Product Details: Count Units

The Count Units tab lets users define up to three alternative Count Units so that the product can be counted in more than one package type. Each conversion refers to how many alternative units are in one inventory unit. The values entered in this screen become the default values for Location Products.

Note: Only Package Types designated for "Inventory "use will available for Company Products; only Package Types designated for "Recipe" use will available for a Recipe's Company Product record .

Under the Products menu, click Company Products.
To edit a product record, click on the Product Name hyperlink.

All tabs are visible by default. To show/hide a tab, click on the Menu icon and select the Tabs option. From the pop-up menu, check to show or uncheck to hide the desired tab(s).

Click on the Count Units tab.
Configure the desired settings on this tab.

Conversion – This indicates the number of alternative units in one inventory unit.
Alt. Unit 1, 2, 3 – The additional unit(s) in which the product can be counted for inventory purposes.

Click the Disk (Save) icon to save your changes.
To download and print these settings, click the Printer (Export) icon and select the desired options.
If necessary, click on any other tab as needed to configure settings on that tab. If not, skip to the next step.
When finished, click the X (Close) icon to return to the summary screen.
