Location Details: PBI Vendors
The PBI Vendors tab allows corporate users to limit the list of corporate vendors that can be used to create a Purchase By Invoice transaction at this location.
Note: Only active vendors with the “Allow PBI” box checked will be available to link to a location on this tab. If a vendor is deactivated or if "Allow PBI" is deselected, the association of this location with that vendor will be removed.
- Under the Corporate menu, click Locations.
- To edit a location record, click on the Name hyperlink.
- All tabs are visible by default. To show/hide a tab, click on the Menu icon and select the Tabs option. From the pop-up menu, check to show or uncheck to hide the desired tab(s).
- Click on the PBI Vendors tab.
- To add one or more PBI Vendors:
- Click the Plus (Add) icon.
- Click to select the appropriate Vendor(s) from the list on the right. To select more than one, press and hold the CTRL key when clicking. If necessary, use the Funnel (Filters) icon to filter the list.
- Click the [<] (Add) button to add the selected option(s) or click the [<<] (Add All) button to add them all.
- When finished, click the (X) (Close) or (>) (Collapse) icon in the selection panel to close/collapse it.
If you collapse the panel, you can use the (<) (Expand) icon to reopen it.
- To limit the location to the selected vendors, uncheck the Show All Active PBI Vendors box. When checked, this will override any selections made on this tab and allow users at this location to create PBI transactions using all available vendors.
- Check the Purchase By Invoice Reconcile is Necessary box if a separate step is required to reconcile Purchase by Invoice transactions created in Net-Chef at this location. The setting for this control is inherited from the same control on Purchasing tab in the Preferences screen.
- Click the Disk (Save) icon to save your changes.
- To download and print these settings, click the Printer (Export) icon and select the desired options.
- If necessary, click on any other tab as needed to configure settings on that tab. If not, skip to the next step.
- When finished, click the X (Close) icon to return to the summary screen.
If necessary, you can click on a row and click the Trash Can (Delete) icon to remove it.
