Budget Data - Overview

The View/Edit Budget Data screen in Net-Chef allows managers to prepare budgets for each post period at each location. Budget figures for each General Ledger code/description combination can be entered either as currency values or as percentages. Budget values and calculations are used in the Profit and Loss reports, which compare actual sales and costs to what was budgeted.

Budgeted values are also used in Sales Forecasts and labor schedules. The Sales Forecasts screen will display budgeted Sales values, which managers can use as a guide when creating weekly sales forecasts.  Labor schedules in Teamworx will display the total amount budgeted for Labor costs, which managers can use as a guide when creating weekly labor schedules.
