When 'Consumption' is calculated for Recommended Order/Production, the application will calculate the amount of each product/recipe that the location will probably use between orders/transactions.
When calculating Consumption, the system will look at the Recommended Order Setup settings in the following sequence:
- Historical Driven By or Production Driven By
- Consumption (for Production) Measured By
- Consumption Driven By
Notes: Historical Consumption is only calculated once per day. Changes to these preference settings will not be reflected in the Recommended Order/Production value until after the new calculation occurs.
If "Import Projected Consumption" is checked, the Consumption portion of the Recommended Order and Recommended Production for Prep formulas will based on imported values and will not be calculated using these parameters.
