Copying a Calendar

The Copy button on the Financial Calendar screen lets a user copy the selected calendar from one location to any other location(s) that does not yet have that calendar set up. This does not apply to the Reporting Calendar, as that affects all locations.    {Franchise Note}Closed: Franchisees will be allowed to define calendars for their own locations. Franchisors will only be able to define calendars for their own locations.

 

  1. Under the Corporate menu, click Financial Calendar.
  2. Select the Fiscal Year.
  3. Click the tab of the calendar to be copied.
  4. Select a Location from the drop-down. This indicates the location that already has this calendar set up for the chosen fiscal year.
  1. Click the Pages (Copy) icon.
  • For the Scheduled Closed, Promotions, Holiday and Excluded Consumption calendars, you must first check the box in the first column on the left for each event to copy, or check the box in the column header to select all events.
  1. In the pop-up window, choose one or more Location(s) to which the calendar will be copied or check the box in the column header to select all. Users can only choose from among locations that do not already have the selected calendar set up for the chosen fiscal year.
  1. Click Copy to copy the calendar to the selected locations.
