Application Users - API Tokens

The API Tokens tab is available to authorized users to add, regenerate, & revoke API Tokens for users who need API access.  {Note}: To display his tab, enable the "Application Users > API Tokens" user group control for the user(s) who need to grant API access to other users.

 

1. Under the Security menu, click Application Users.
2. Click on the User ID hyperlink of the user who needs access to one or more APIs. the User Detail screen will open.

• All tabs are visible by default. To show/hide a tab, click on the Menu icon and select the Tabs option. From the pop-up menu, check to show or uncheck to hide the desired tab(s).

3. Click on the API Tokens tab.
4. To create/update tokens, click the appropriate expander control below and follow the related steps.

• For steps to add/update one or more tokens, click HERE.

1. To create a new token, click the Add button; to edit an existing token, click the Edit link for that token.
2. Choose the number of Expiration (Months); options include '3', '6' (default), or '12'.
3. To create/update specific tokens: In the Access column, select the appropriate radio button for each applicable API; options include 'Full Access' (GET & POST), 'Read Access' (GET only), or 'No Access' (default)   OR
   To create/update all tokens: Select the user's Access Level from the drop-down and check Apply to all APIs.
4. When ready, click Save.

• For steps to regenerate a token, click HERE.

1. Click the Regenerate link for that token.
2. In the pop-up, choose the number of Expiration (Months); options include '3', '6' (default), or '12'.
3. Click the Regenerate button.

• For steps to revoke one or more tokens, click HERE.

• To revoke a specific token: Click the Revoke link for that token. In the pop-up, click the Revoke Token button.
• To revoke all tokens: Click the Revoke All button. In the pop-up, click the Revoke All Tokens button.

5. If necessary, click on any other tab as needed to configure settings on that tab. If not, skip to the next step.
6. When finished, click the X (Close) icon to return to the summary screen.
