Calculating Each Nutritional Element

The next step is to calculate the amount of each nutritional element in the recipe based on the number of grams per product used in the recipe.

In this example, the number of Calories per batch is calculated for the Kitchen Wine.

The formula for this is: Calories per Batch = Nutrition per 100 grams x Grams per Batch.

  • Calories per Batch (Kitchen Wine): 4.480 x 50 = 224.0

Repeat this process for the remaining recipe components as shown in the worksheet above; see Cells N15-N21 for the other Garlic Sauce components and Cells O8-O11 for the Garlic Clams components.
