Introduction to Product Deactivation

Products created in Enterprise Manager must have a status of 'Active' in order to be available for use in the application (e.g. to be attached to a bid sheet, ordered from a vendor, or used as a recipe component). A company product is activated or deactivated manually. A location product cannot be manually deactivated; it is deactivated automatically if it is not held in inventory and has no transactions associated with it for a set number of post periods.
