The Sales Forecast Summary Screen
The Sales Forecast summary screen displays forecast data for each week ending period, including weekly totals and daily forecasts. By default, the data displayed is based on the budgeted sales values entered in the Budget Data screen, if any. Once forecast data has been entered and saved in the Sales Forecast detail screen, the summary screen will display those values.
Note: This screen is not available for Cruise Lines.
Header Controls
- Fiscal Year – Select the year for which to display forecast data.
- Status – Choose to display data for ‘Unposted’, ‘Posted’, or 'All' periods.
- Include Guest Counts – Check this box if Guest Count rows should be displayed in this screen.
- Include Check Counts – Check this box if Check Count rows should be displayed in this screen.
(This check box will be available only if "Display check count data" is enabled in the Recommended Order Setup screen.) - Printer – Exports the list of forecasts displayed to the selected format.
- --><- : Minimizes the Sales Forecasts list and displays the Overview page.
Forecast Data
- Week Day Percentages – Displays values entered on the Projected Sales % tab in the Location Details screen in Enterprise Manager. Weekly budgeted total sales values will be multiplied by the daily percentage to calculate a daily budgeted sales value.
- Week Ending (Link) – Displays a date for each period defined in the Post Calendar AND Reporting Calendar, and which falls on the Week Ending Day defined in the Company setup screen in Enterprise Manager. Click the link to enter the Sales Forecast detail screen for the selected week.
- Total – By default, displays the total of budgeted sales entered in the Budget Data screen, if any. If none, will display asterisks. Will display "Reviewed" forecasts after a user enters and saves forecast data in the detail screen.
- Week Day columns – Displays forecast data for each day of the week.
- Last Updated – Displays the date that forecast data was last edited by a user.
- Reviewed – Displays 'Y' if forecast values have been entered and saved; displays 'N' if values displayed are based on those from the Budget Data screen.
- Auto-Forecasted (hidden by default) – Displays 'Y' or 'N' to indicate whether the forecast was auto-generated or entered manually.
Command Buttons (footer)
- Print – Click to save displayed data to a PDF file.
- Excel – Click to save displayed data to an Excel file.
- Close – Click to close the summary screen.
