Consolidated Indexed Theoretical Cost - Related Setup
Related Setup:
- Application Users – Users must be linked to at least one hierarchy and to the reference market.
- Financial & Post Calendars – The report will retrieve data for a maximum of 13 financial or post periods. To see trends over the course of a year, financial periods should not be less than 1 month.
- Currency Ratios (multi-currency environments only) – Conversion factors for alternate currencies must be defined. The values in this report are expressed in the Reference Market’s base currency.
- General Ledger / GL Groupings – The report will display General Ledger accounts and P&L Substructures associated with the "Cost of Goods Sold" P&L Grouping.
- Category – Product categories must be linked to the appropriate General Ledger accounts.
- Concepts – Each location should be linked to only one concept (if used), to eliminate double counting of location data in the summary report.
Recommended Setup:
- Markets – A non-functional "Reference Market" (with no associated locations) should be defined.
- Vendor Bids – Standardized product pricing (i.e. at least one bid price) should be entered for all relevant products in the reference market.
Note: Since the purpose of this report is to compare product prices (not recipe costs), the report will ignore the "A/T Cost Item" designation for recipes, meaning that the report will display values for the component products of these recipes, not for the finished recipe items.
