Consolidated Sales Entry Summary

The Consolidated Sales Entry Summary displays sales information for all locations within the selected hierarchy. This information includes guest counts for the morning, midday, and end of the day, as well as the average transaction value. This data is taken from the Register Readings"Register Readings" tab of the Sales Transactions screen.

Report Controls

From/To: Calendar widgets; can select any dates.

Hierarchy: Select the desired hierarchy level from the drop-down

Funnel (Filters): Any report column

Printer (Export): PDF, Excel, CSV formats

Report Columns:

Click any column header to sort by the data in that column; defaults to Location Name (Asc).

  • Location Code – The code for the location.
  • Location Name – The name for the location; “Drill Down” link; see below for details.
  • Net Sales – Sum of the “Ending Reading” field for the selected dates.
  • Tax Exempt – Sum of the “Total Tax Exempt Amount” field for the selected dates.
  • Non-Register Sales – Sum of the “Non-Register/Gift Sales” field for the selected dates.
  • Charged Tips – Sum of the “Charged Tips” field for the selected dates.
  • Overring Amount – Sum of the “Total Overring Amount” field for the selected dates.
  • Void Amount – Sum of the “Total Void Amount” field for the selected dates.
  • No. of Voids – Sum of the “Number of Voids” field for the selected dates.
  • Morning Count – Sum of the “Morning Guest Count” field for the selected dates.
  • Midday Count = [ Sum of Midday Guest Counts - Sum of Morning Guest Counts ]; this is the number of guests served SINCE the Morning Count.
  • Ending Count = [ Sum of Ending Guest Counts - Sum of Midday Guest Counts ]; this is the number of guests served SINCE the Midday Count.
  • Avg. Trans. = [ Net Sales ÷ (Morning Count + Midday Count + Ending Count) ]

 

“Drill Down” Links:

  • Location Name – Opens a report with totals for each week within the selected date range at that location; equivalent of the Sales Entry Summary report for that location. This report includes the following link:
  • Transaction Date (Login location only) – Opens the Sales Transactions screen for that register for that day of the week. If necessary, The values on each tab can be edited until the period is posted.
