Consolidated Current Inventory

The Consolidated Current Inventory report will display the current On Hand, In Transit, and Total Quantity for all locations within the selected hierarchy. The report uses the current "Unit Price" (Inventory Cost) of each item to calculate the corresponding value.

Report Controls

Hierarchy: Select the desired hierarchy level from the drop-down

Group By: Location (default), Product, Category, Subcategory, Microcategory, GL Code - Description, Storage Location Group (if applicable); enabled when "Summarize" is unchecked.

Summarize: Product (default), Category, Subcategory, Microcategory, GL Code / Description.

Funnel (Filters): Any report column; Location Name, Location Code, User Defined Category, Product Type, Storage Location, Storage Type, Storage Location Group (if applicable)

Printer (Export): PDF, Excel, CSV formats

Report Columns (default view):

Click any column header to sort by the data in that column.

Location Code, Location Name – Only visible when grouped by 'Product'.
Product Number – The company product number.
Product Name – The company product name; “Drill Down” link; see below for details.
Inv. Unit – The company product inventory unit.
On Hand Quantity – The total quantity on hand at all locations (or each location if grouped by 'Location' or 'Product').
Unit Price – The current Inventory Cost from the Location Product record; values visible only when report is not summarized. Click the hyperlink to view cost change details for the selected product.
On Hand Value = Sum of [ On Hand Quantity x current Unit Price ] from each of the locations.
In Transit Quantity – The total quantity on unreconciled outgoing commissary/customer orders and location transfers.
In Transit Value = Sum of [ In Transit Quantity x current Unit Price ] from each of the locations.
Total Quantity = [ On Hand Quantity + In Transit Quantity ]
Total Value = [ On Hand Value + In Transit Value ]

Additional Columns (hidden by default):

Category – The category assigned to the company product.
Subcategory – The subcategory assigned to the company product.
Microcategory – The microcategory assigned to the company product.
GL Code/Description – The GL Code/Description associated with the company product's assigned category.
Retail Price – The "Standard" Retail Price from the Location Product record.
Retail Value = [ On Hand Quantity x Retail Price ]
Cost % = [ (Unit Price ÷ Retail Price) x 100 ]

“Drill Down” Links:

Product Name – Opens a sub-report w/totals by location for the selected product.
