Attach Files to an Invoice

The Attachments window allows a user to browse for and upload a file to the database for the transaction, typically a scanned copy of the vendor’s invoice. This screen will also allow a user to view or delete previously attached files.

Note: The number of file attachments is limited to 5 files; the size of each attachment is limited to 5 MB.

  1. Click the Attachments button to open the pop-up window.
  2. Click the Add (blue Plus) button.
  3. In the pop-up, click the Browse [...] button and locate the file to be uploaded, then double-click on the file to upload it.
  4. Enter a File Description.
  5. To add additional files, click the Plus (Add) icon and repeat steps 3 & 4. To delete a file prior to uploading, click the corresponding [X] (Delete) icon.
  6. When ready, click the Upload button to upload the file(s).
  7. If there are files already attached to the invoice, you can:
  • Download and view a file by clicking the hyperlinked File Name.
  • Delete a file by clicking on a row and clicking the Trash Can (Delete) icon.

Note: Users can also view attached files by clicking on an icon in the "File(s)" column on the summary screen.

  1. When finished, click the X (Close) icon.
