On the Positions tab

Wage Matrix rates will be selected for additional positions on the Positions tab. Initially, these rates will have to be assigned for all existing employees (all positions) as well.  Once a wage matrix has been linked to a location in Enterprise Manager, the related pay rates will be available in Net-Chef for association with employee records on the first day of the post period during which the rates will take effect.

Note: These instructions are specific to the assignment of wage matrix rates only and do not include the details required to complete data entry for all fields on this tab.

  1. In the Employee Maintenance summary screen, click the Filter by Status drop-down and select the ‘Assign Wage’ status. This will filter the screen to display all existing employees who have not yet been assigned a wage matrix rate.
  2. Click the Edit link to open an employee record.
  3. Click the Positions tab.
  4. To assign a rate, click the ellipsis […] button to the right of the Rate field to open a pop-up window.  {Note}Closed: Employees may be associated with a Job Level for any age greater than their own age.
