Export Employee Data

From the Employee Maintenance module, authorized users have the option to export employee information as a file that can be uploaded by an external time clock system.

 

Note: This option is only available if the following has been defined in Enterprise Manager:

  • The Employee POS export has been configured in the Export Mapping screen.
  • The Labor Preferences are NOT set to create the export via Scheduled Export.
  • The Application User is linked to a User Group with the "NC-Emp. Maint. Summary Screen - Export" control enabled.

To generate the export:

  1. From the Labor menu, click Employee Maintenance.
  2. Click the Printer (Export) icon.
  3. In the Select Employee Export Type pop-up, click the POS Export button. (The "Information Export" will allow you to export the list of employees displayed to a PDF, Excel, or CSV file.)
  4. In the drop-down, choose one of the following options:
  • Export All Employees
  • Export Changed Employees Only
  • Export Changed and New Employees
  • Export New Employees Only
  1. Click the Export button.
  2. The file will be downloaded to your PC.
