Daily Prep Data & Calculations

  • Batch Size/Unit – The "Batch Size" and"Package" values defined in the header of the Recipe Details screen in Enterprise Manager.
  • Shelf Life – The number of 'Days', 'Hours', or 'Minutes' the recipe can be kept on the shelf after being produced, as defined on the Production tab of the Recipe Details screen in Enterprise Manager.
  • Prep Time The value in 'Days', 'Hours', or 'Minutes' required to prepare the recipe, as defined on the Production tab of the Recipe Details screen in Enterprise Manager.
  • Current Available – The current "Available" quantity of the recipe at the location, converted from Inventory Units to recipe Batch Units. Calculated as: Min Par {Batch Units} = Min Par {Inventory Units}  /  ((Recipe Portion Quantity x Recipe Portion Amount  /  Recipe Batch Size Quantity) ], rounded to 2 decimal places.
  • Min Par – '"Min Par" from the recipe's location product record for the current location, converted from Inventory Units to recipe Batch Units.
  • Projected Consumption for Day – Displays the Projected Consumption portion of the Recommended Production for Prep quantity. This may be calculated or imported, depending on the location's Recommended Order settings.
  • Sugg. Prod. For Prep – The "Recommended Production" quantity for the recipe, converted from Inventory Units to recipe Batch Units (see "Related Setup" for more details). The basic calculation for this value is: [ Min Par + Projected Consumption - Available ].
  • Cummul. Actual for Day = [ Total"Actual Prod." for this recipe {including any "Incomplete" Daily Prep} + Total "Planned Production" quantities for this recipe on active Production plans ].
