Today's Operating Metrics

Below is the complete list of metrics available for display on the Today's Operating Metrics widget.

 

  • Sales – Total value of sales for the selected time period from all GL Accounts linked to the “Sales” P&L Grouping.
  • Checks – Total number of Checks processed for the selected time period.
  • Guests – Total actual Guest Count for the selected time period.
  • Actual Labor – Total Wages {or Actual Payroll}, summation of values in increments within the time period.
  • Actual Hours – Total number of hours worked by all employees in the selected time period; includes Regular and Overtime hours, along with any allocated to the location.
  • FOH Actual Labor – Total FOH Wages, summation of values in increments within the time period.
  • FOH Actual Hours – Total number of hours worked by employees associated with positions linked to the "FOH Payroll" P&L substructure.
  • BOH Actual Labor – Total BOH Wages, summation of values in increments within the time period.
  • BOH Actual Hours – Total number of hours worked by employees associated with positions linked to the "BOH Payroll" P&L substructure.
  • Actual Labor % = [ Actual Labor ÷ Sales ], derived from calculations in grid.
  • Actual FOH % = [ Actual FOH Labor ÷ Sales ], derived from calculations in grid.
  • Actual BOH % = [ Actual BOH Labor ÷ Sales ], derived from calculations in grid.
  • Sales Per Actual Labor Hour = [ Sales ÷ Actual Hours ], derived from calculations in grid.
  • # FOH – Actual count for positions linked to the "FOH Payroll" P&L substructure.
  • # BOH – Actual count for positions linked to the "BOH Payroll" P&L substructure.
  • # Mgmt – Actual count for positions flagged as "Manager".
  • Total Employees Clocked In – Actual number of employee currently clocked in.
  • Earned Hours – The total number of employee hours that would have been Ideal, based on the Staffing Template(s) and Actual Sales or Guest Counts.
  • FOH Earned Hours – The total number of Earned Hours associated with positions linked to the "FOH Payroll" P&L substructure.
  • BOH Earned Hours – The total number of Earned Hours associated with positions linked to the "BOH Payroll" P&L substructure.
  • Variance Earned Hours = [ Actual Hours - Earned Hours ]
  • Variance FOH Earned Hours = [ FOH Actual Hours – FOH Earned Hours ]
  • Variance BOH Earned Hours = [ BOH Actual Hours – BOH Earned Hours ]
  • Forecasted Sales – Total Forecasted Sales for the selected time period.
  • Variance Sales = [ Menu Mix Sales – Forecasted Sales ], derived from calculations in grid.
  • Forecasted Guests – Total Forecasted Guests for the selected time period.
  • Variance Guests = [ Menu Mix Guests - Forecasted Guests ], derived from calculations in grid.
  • Forecasted Checks – Total Forecasted Checks for the selected time period.

  • Scheduled Labor – Total value of hours scheduled for all employees; includes Regular and Overtime hours.
