Configuring the Cognitive Label Printer

In order to print labels using this printer, the system administrator must install an ActiveX label printing control on each PC printing to this printer by doing the following:

 

1. Verify that the system administrator has full administrator privileges on the system.
2. Unzip CT-ActiveX.zip; select ‘Use Folder Names’. All files will unzip to c:\CT-ActiveX.
3. Run c:\CT-ActiveX\install.bat by double clicking it.
4. A message box will display reading “DllRegisterServer in TConnector2.dll succeeded.”
5. Delete c:\CT-ActiveX.

The first time that users attempt to print labels to the Cognitive printer, they will receive a warning that they need to accept an ActiveX control from TConnector. They need to accept the download of the ActiveX control in order to continue and print labels.
