Stations
The Stations screen allows authorized Net-Chef users to create and maintain a list of labor stations. Users can see stations created at Corporate for all locations and can add new stations for the current location. Stations can then be linked to positions in the Positions screen. Creating a list of stations will facilitate more robust labor scheduling by allowing managers to schedule employees to work at specific stations within a location.
- From the Labor menu, click Stations.
- Click the Plus (Add) icon to create a new skill level, or click on an existing row to edit it.
- Enter the station Code.
- Enter the Station description.
- The Active box is checked by default; clear the check box if the station should not be active.
- Click the Disk (Save) icon to save your changes.
- To download and print the list of stations displayed, click the Printer (Export) icon.
- When finished, click the Home (Dashboard) icon to exit the screen.
If necessary, you can click on a row and click the Trash Can (Delete) icon to delete it.
Note: A Station cannot be deactivated or deleted if one or more Positions are linked to it. Also, a Station cannot be deleted if it has been used on a labor schedule.
