Cancel/Reject a Location Transfer
Authorized users will have the ability to Cancel or Reject a Location Transfer. A user at the sending location may Cancel a transfer; a user at the receiving location may Reject a transfer. Both actions will result in the transaction being nullified and control of the inventory will be returned to the issuing location.
Note: This process is not applicable to storage transfers.
- From the Inventory menu, click Recent Location Transfers. This screen lists all of the recent transfers.
- To find a particular transfer, use the Search field or click the Funnel (Filters) icon to access the screen filters.
- Below, click the expander link for the desired task to display further instructions.
- Find the transfer you want to cancel, then click the Cancel link.
- In the detail screen, select the desired Cancel Date from the drop-down.
- Review the list of products and quantities as needed to confirm this is the correct transfer.
- When ready, click the Cancel Transfer button.
- A confirmation message will appear; click OK to confirm.
- Find the transfer you want to reject, then click the Reject link.
- In the confirmation box, enter an optional reason for doing so.
- A warning message will appear. Click OK to cancel or click Cancel to stop.
