The Dashboard - Today's Location Tasks
The Today’s Location Tasks Dashboard widget will display a list of all operational tasks that need to be performed at each location in the user's hierarchy on the current date. Task Types are displayed as tabs in a "ribbon" below the widget header, with a total count for 'All' and for each Task Type in a green field immediately to its left. Authorized users will see and can click the “Task Audit Report” link to open a pop-up displaying a list of completed/canceled tasks. The task Due Date will appear in red text if it is overdue. Tasks older than 30 days will be expired automatically.
Note: The location's local time (based on the Time Zone defined for the location in Enterprise Manager) is used as the date/time for transactions that drive the tasks displayed on the Dashboard.
The application checks the "Order Schedule" defined in the Customer Details screen in Enterprise Manager (the "Order Type" must be set to 'Order') to determine if a Commissary Order should be placed today. It also checks to see if an order has been created or canceled for today.
Visible: Only the day the order is to be created.
Displays for Commissary Orders that were created but not submitted.
Visible: Until the order is submitted or canceled.
Displays for outgoing Commissary Orders with an Expected Delivery Date ≤ the current date that have been Invoiced and are for customers to which the current user is linked.
Visible: Until the order is reconciled or canceled.
Displays for incoming Commissary Orders with an Expected Delivery Date ≤ the current date that are Ready for Physical Reconcile (i.e. – 'Invoiced').
Visible: Until the order is reconciled.
Displays for orders with an Expected Delivery Date ≤ the current date that are Ready for Invoice and are for customers to which the current user is linked.
Visible: Until the order is invoiced or canceled.
Displays for orders with an Expected Delivery Date ≤ the current date that are Ready for Picklist and are for customers to which the current user is linked.
Visible: Until the order is picklisted or canceled.
Hyperlink: Opens the order for Picklist.

Displays for previous dates for which Daily Prep was started but not completed.
Visible: Until the transaction is completed or canceled, which must be done prior to Post.
The application checks for employees where the current location is their primary location and whose status is "Incomplete" (i.e. – not all Employee Checklist items have been completed); one task will be displayed for all records.
Visible: Until the employee records are completed or deactivated (i.e. – ‘Terminated’).
If the current location is associated with a Wage Matrix, the application checks for hourly employees where this location is their primary location and whose status is "Assign Wage"; one task will be displayed for all records.
Visible: Until wage matrix rates are assigned or the employee records are deactivated.
Displays for the current period if the Final for Post inventory has been reviewed and the total negative variance value exceeds the parameters defined by Inventory Preferences in Enterprise Manager.
Visible: Until the variance is reduced within the defined parameters or the period is posted.

Visible: Tasks can be configured to appear a specified number of days before the week begins based on the location's Labor Preferences.
Displays for outgoing Location Transfers that have not been reconciled.
Visible: Until the transfer is reconciled or canceled.
Displays for incoming Location Transfers that are ready for reconcile.
Visible: Until the transfer is reconciled or canceled.
If Buffet Consumption records have been created within the past 2 weeks, the task list will display any dates/dayparts (for open periods) within that range for which data was not entered.
- Will NOT appear on the Dashboard if the location's Hours of Operation “Opening Time” = ‘00:00’ or the date is listed on the location's Scheduled Closed Calendar.
Visible: Existing tasks will appear until the period is posted or the task is canceled. New tasks will continue to appear for 2 weeks; will stop after this if there is no additional activity.
If Labor Actual records have been created within the past 2 weeks, either by import or manual entry, the task list will display any dates (for open periods) within that range for which data was not entered.
- Will NOT appear on the Dashboard if the location's Hours of Operation “Opening Time” = ‘00:00’ or the date is listed on the location's Scheduled Closed Calendar.
Visible: Existing tasks will appear until the period is posted. New tasks will continue to appear for 2 weeks; will stop after this if there is no additional activity.
If Labor Schedule records have been created within the past 2 weeks, the task list will display any dates (for open periods) within that range for which no Labor Schedule exists.
- Will NOT appear on the Dashboard if the location's Hours of Operation “Opening Time” = ‘00:00’ or the date is listed on the location's Scheduled Closed Calendar.
Visible: Existing tasks will appear until the period is posted. New tasks will continue to appear for 2 weeks; will stop after this if there is no additional activity.
If a file has been processed within the past 2 weeks, the task list will display any dates within that range (for open periods) for which the location did not process a Menu Mix import.
- Will NOT appear on the Dashboard if the location's Hours of Operation “Opening Time” = ‘00:00’ or the date is listed on the location's Scheduled Closed Calendar.
Visible: Existing tasks will appear until the period is posted. New tasks will continue to appear for 2 weeks; they will stop after this if there is no additional activity.
If Register Sales records have been created within the past 2 weeks, either by Sales Mix import or manual entry, the task list will display any dates/registers (for open periods; includes today) within that range for which data was not entered.
- Will NOT appear on the Dashboard if the location's Hours of Operation “Opening Time” = ‘00:00’ or the date is listed on the location's Scheduled Closed Calendar.
Visible: Existing tasks will appear until the period is posted. New tasks will continue to appear for 2 weeks; they will stop after this if there is no additional activity.
This task will display in the list if there are any failed Menu Mix import files for the current period that require Error Remediation.
Visible: The task will appear until all failed files have been remediated or until the period is posted.
This task will display in the list if there are any failed Sales Mix import files for the current period that require Error Remediation.
Visible: The task will appear until all failed files have been remediated or until the period is posted.
Displays the current unposted period when there is a Post Date <= the current date for which Inventory has not been Posted.
Visible: Until Inventory is posted for the period.
Displays the current unposted period when there is a Post Date <= the current date for which Labor has not been Posted.
Visible: Until Labor is posted for the period.
Displays for Purchase by Invoice transactions for the location that have a status of "Awaiting Allocation" and a Delivery Date ≤ the current date.
Visible: Until the costs on the Invoice are allocated.
Displays for Purchase by Invoice transactions for the location that have a status of "Awaiting Invoice" and a Delivery Date ≤ the current date.
Visible: Until the Invoice is reconciled.
Displays for the current unposted period if sales forecasts have not been manually reviewed by an authorized user. This task will appear if a budget has been saved for the period and/or forecast data has been reviewed and saved for one of the last 4 posted periods.
Visible: Until forecasts have been reviewed or until the period has been posted.
Displays for dates ≤ the current date for which an inventory event is scheduled but quantities have not been entered. (Since inventory counts are supposed to reflect end of day quantities, counts are typically entered the day after the scheduled event.)
Visible: Until the event is completed or canceled.
Displays for scheduled inventory events that have quantities entered but not reviewed.
Visible: Until the event is completed or canceled.
Displays for Simple Receipt transactions for the location with an Expected Delivery Date ≤ the current date that are ready for reconcile (i.e. - "Submitted").
Visible: Until the transaction is reconciled or canceled.
Displays for Vendor Orders that have been reconciled but which require approval based on criteria defined in the Purchasing preferences.
Visible: Until the order has been approved.
Displays for Vendor Orders for the location that are submitted (and were not submitted with the "Do Not Transmit" box checked) and are from vendors from whom a confirm receipt is required but has not been received.
Visible: Until a receipt confirmation has been received.
Displays for Vendor Orders for the location that have been submitted and for which a Confirm Terms import has been processed.
Visible: Until the confirmation has been viewed, an e-invoice for this order has been received, or the order has been reconciled.
Displays for Vendor Orders for the location that are ready for reconcile, are from vendors for which an electronic invoice is required but has not been received, and have an Expected Delivery Date ≤ the current date.
Visible: Until the electronic invoice is received.
Displays for Vendor Orders that have been Physically Reconciled the e-invoice has not yet been received.
Visible: Until the e-invoice has been received.
Displays for Vendor Orders when the FTP transmission fails for the final time.
Visible: Until the order is transmitted successfully, reconciled, or canceled.
Hyperlink: Opens a pop up window with FTP log file.
The application checks Vendor Information setup for the current day and determines if any vendor has an order day for this day of the week. It also checks to see if an order has been created or canceled for today.
Visible: Only on the day the order is to be created.
Displays for Vendor Orders that were created but not submitted
Visible: Until the order is submitted or canceled.
Displays for Vendor Orders for the location with an Expected Delivery Date ≤ the current date that are ready for reconcile (i.e. - "Submitted" or "Invoice Received").
Visible: Until the order is reconciled or canceled.
Notes: The Dashboard will also display tasks defined on task-based Staffing Templates. Application Users linked to a User Group with the “NC-Daily Store Tasks – View TeamworX Tasks” control enabled can also view tasks originating from TeamworX and can close or cancel single, non-recurring ones.
