Daily Specials

Daily Specials are used to create special promotions that are linked to PLUs for stock depletion - i.e two drinks for the price of one or a free glass with the drink. At the location level, a ‘Daily Special Code’ is linked to a recipe, PLU, and product description. Individual dates are attached to each special to determine the day in which it will be active. The combination of these entries lets a user set up a series of date-driven specials.

Under the Products menu, click Daily Special.
Click the Plus (Add) icon to create a new entry, or click on the Special Description link for the appropriate row to modify an existing one.
Enter a Date showing when this special will be active.
Select a Daily Special Code from the drop-down.
The PLU Quantity will update automatically when this selection is made.
Select the PLU drop-down. In the Select Recipe pop-up:

From the PLU Display drop-down, select 'Location' (default) to view location-specific PLU numbers, 'Header' to view the standard recipe PLU numbers, or 'Both'.
Select the desired Recipe from the list of those available. If necessary, use the Filters (Funnel) icon to filter the list.

Select a Date for the special.
If the special includes a free or discounted product, click the selector for Product. In the pop-up, choose the desired product.
Enter a Product Quantity.
When finished, click the Disk (Save) icon to save your changes.
Click the X (Close) icon to return to the summary screen.
