Stations

The Stations screen allows corporate users to create and maintain a list of labor stations that can be used at all locations. Stations can then be linked to positions in the Positions screen. (See "Positions" for more details). Creating a list of stations will facilitate more robust labor scheduling in Net-Chef by allowing managers to schedule employees to work at specific stations within a location.

  1. Under the Labor menu, click Stations.
  2. Click the Plus (Add) icon to create a new skill level, or click on an existing row to edit it.
  3. Enter the station Code.
  4. Enter the Station description.
  5. The Active box is checked by default; clear the check box if the station should not be active.
  6. When finished, click the Disk (Save) icon.
  7. To download and print these entries, click the Printer (Export) icon and select the desired options.

 

If necessary, you can click on a new row and click the Trash Can (Delete) icon to remove it.

Note: A Station cannot be deactivated or deleted if one or more Positions are linked to it. Also, a Station cannot be deleted if it has been used on a labor schedule.
