Link a Staffing Level Template to Location Groups

Authorized users can assign Demand and Task-based templates to one or more Location Groups, via Location-based User Defined Categories. These corporate templates will be available only to the locations associated with the selected User Defined Category. The list of locations within the group will be limited to those that share the same Base Currency as the one associated with the template.

Note: If starting from an open and/or newly-created template, skip to step 3.

  1. Under the Labor menu, click Staffing Level Templates. The summary screen will open.
  2. Click the Staffing Level Template hyperlink for the appropriate template.
  3. Click the Location Groups tab.
  4. If necessary, use the Funnel (Filters) to filter the list of Location Groups displayed.
  5. Check the box in the Select column for each Location Group that should have access to this template or check the box at the top of the column to select all visible groups (based on any filters applied).
  6. The Default Template box will be enabled for each selected location. Check the box to designate this template as the default for the corresponding location group(s) or check the box at the top of the column to set it as the default for all visible groups.
  1. When finished, click the Disk (Save) icon.
