Point of Sale

The Point of Sale module lists all customer point of sale registers at each location. This information is used to set up the manual point of sale and POS transactions in the Net-Chef Sales Transactions screen.   {Franchise Note}: Franchisees will be allowed to define their own point of sale registers. Franchisors will only see their own registers.

  

1. Under the General menu, click Point of Sale.
2. Select a Location from the drop-down list.  {Concepts Note}: f a location is linked to one or more Concepts, it will only be available if the current application user is linked to one or more of the same Concepts. If a location is not linked to any Concepts, it will be available to all users. See "Concepts" for more information.
3. Click the Plus (Add) icon to create a new register, or click on the appropriate row to modify an existing one.
4. Enter the cash register Number and Description.
5. When finished, click the Disk (Save) icon.

 

If necessary, you can click on a new row and click the Trash Can (Delete) icon to remove it.
