Labor Adjustment Reasons

The Labor Adjustment Reasons setup screen allows users to create a list of reasons for editing Labor Actual records in Net-Chef. Two reasons will be defined in this screen by default - "Forgot to Clock In" and "Forgot to Clock Out"; the Code for these reasons can be edited but the Description cannot, and they cannot be deactivated or deleted. Only reasons that have not been used in any existing Labor Actuals record can be deleted.

  1. Under the Labor menu, click Labor Adjustment Reasons.
  1. Click the Plus (Add) icon. to create a new reason , or click on the appropriate row to modify an existing reason.
  2. Enter the Code and Description.
  3. Each new entry will default to Active.  If necessary, clear this check box to deactivate the reason.
  4. The row will be highlighted yellow once any change has been made.  If editing an existing row, the Undo Edits (Circular Arrow) icon will reverse all entries without saving. For new rows, this will delete the row. To delete an existing row, click the [X] (Delete) icon.
  5. When finished, click on another row to save.
  6. To download and print these entries, click the Printer (Export) icon and select the desired options.
