Post Up

The Post Up function can be used to automatically post one or more active locations up to a selected date.

 

{Note}Closed: In order to maintain the list of active Location Products, this function will ignore the preference to "Deactivate Products After ___ Post Periods".  

 

  1. Under the Corporate menu, click Post Up. <Tip>Closed: In the Financial Calendar screen, you can also select Post Up from the "Posting" button drop-down menu.
  2. On the Dates screen, choose whether to post Inventory and Labor (default), Inventory Only, or Labor Only.
  3. Select a Post Up Through date.  Dates available will be <= the current date.
  4. Click Next to continue.  (If necessary, click Back to return to the previous screen.)
  5. On the Locations screen, check the box in the Select column for one or more locations or choose Select All.  {Notes}Closed: Select All/Deselect All applies to all paginated results and honors any filters applied. If a Supply Location is selected, the locations that supplies will automatically be selected as well.
  6. Click Next to continue.  (If necessary, click Back to return to the previous screen.)
  7. On the Closing Method screen, select the desired method for posting Inventory. (Skip this step if only posting Labor.)

Options include:

  • Primary Closing Methods (default) - Blank Physical Quantity fields will be set based on the methods currently defined for each Location/Storage/Product Type combination.
  • Book - If selected, this will override the default settings and blank Physical Quantity fields will be set to [ Book - In Transit ] for all products in all storage locations at the selected location(s).
  • Zero - If selected, this will override the default settings and blank Physical Quantity fields will be set to '0' for all products in all storage locations at the selected location(s).
  1. Click Next to continue.  (If necessary, click Back to return to the previous screen.)
  2. On the Review screen, verify the Locations you plan to post, the Post Up To date and Closing Method you selected, and the number Inventory and/or Labor periods to be posted.
  3. When ready, click Post Up.
