Export Mapping - Sales

The Sales export mappings allows corporate users to define the Export Preferences for all of the available sales exports. Mappings for sales exports other than STANDARD will be visible only when the Company User Defined Attribute for XX_INTEGRATION_ENABLED = 'true' for a supported partner system, where XX = the abbreviation for that system.  File mappings for this export type can only be edited by a corporate user associated with a User Group that has the "Export Mapping - Sales Edit" control enabled.  A user with just the "Export Mapping - Sales View" permission enabled will be able to view but not edit these file mappings.

  1. Under the Interfaces menu, click Export Mapping.
  2. Click the Export Name link to view the mapping.
  3. Check/uncheck the Active box to activate/deactivate this export format.

On the Export Detail tab:

  1. The following settings have been defined and cannot be edited:
  • Date Format - MMDDYYYY  (For STANDARD, this is MM/DD/YY)
  • Number Format - '0000.00
  • Negative Numbers (format) - N/A
  • Decimal Places - 2
  • Time Format - HHmmss
  • File Extension - .txt
  • Field Delimiter Type - Variable Width
  • Field Delimiter - Tab
  • File Name Delimiter Type - Variable Width
  • File Name Delimiter - _
  • File Name Date Format - YYYYMMDD
  • File Name Time Format - HHmmss

In the Export Preferences section:

  1. The following settings can be been defined:
  • Export Sales Start Date - Select/enter the first date that should included in the first export.
  • Delay Sales Days - Enter the number of days (0-6) that sales from the end of each period should be delayed (excluded) from the export for that period. The sales for those days will be included in the next period export. This helps ensure sales for each period are final prior to export.

Example: Today is Wed, Sept.10, 2025. If your Week Ending Day is ‘Tuesday’, then your last Post period ended on Tue, Sept. 9. If you set the Export Sales Start Date to ‘08/01/2025’, and Delay Sales Days to ‘3’, then all data from Aug 1, 2025 thru Sept. 6, 2025 will be included in the first export, and the next export for the period ending Tue, Sept 16 will include data for Sept. 7 thru Sept. 13.

The Export File Components tab cannot be selected/edited.

  1. Click the X (Close) icon to close the mapping window and return to the summary screen.
  2. To exit the screen, select the Home (Dashboard) icon.
