Dashboard - Table Views

The Table Views tab allows corporate users to define which of the reporting widgets will be available on the Dashboard and/or topical "Overview" menus in Net-Chef.  For the Top 10 Actual/Theoretical Cost and Menu Mix tables, corporate users can also configure one or two additional retrieval parameters to make the data more meaningful.

 

  1. Under the Corporate menu, click Dashboard Setup.
  2. Click the Table Views tab.
  3. Check this box to define whether each widget will be Available for Net-Chef users.
  4. If necessary, select an additional parameter from one or both drop-downs for the Actual/Theoretical Cost and/or Menu Mix tables.
  • Additional Parameter 1 (for "Actual/Theoretical Cost" and "Menu Mix Sales") — This drop-down will include a list of any User Defined Categories related to "Products". This will control what products are retrieved.
  • Additional Parameter 2 (for "Menu Mix Sales" only) — Options include: 'Gross Profit', 'Sales', or 'Transactions'. This will control what values are considered when deciding what the top items are (as a whole, or based on a selected User Defined Category).
  1. Click the Disk (Save) icon to save your changes.
  2. To download and print these settings, click the Printer (Export) icon and select the desired options.
  3. When finished, click the X (Close) icon to exit the screen.
