Company Details: Projected Sales %

The Sales Forecasting module in Net-Chef distributes budgeted total sales per period among the days of the week using these percentages. Values entered in this screen will be the default settings for the same tab in the Location Details screen.

 

  1. Under the Corporate menu, click Company.
  2. All tabs are visible by default. To show/hide a tab, click on the Menu icon and select the Tabs option. From the pop-up menu, check to show or uncheck to hide the desired tab(s).
  3. Click on the Projected Sales % tab.
  4. For each day of the week, enter the percentage of weekly sales that typically occurs on that day. The total of all fields must add up to 100%.
  1. If necessary, click on any other tab as needed to configure settings on that tab. If not, skip to the next step.
  2. Click the Disk (Save) icon to save your changes.
  3. When finished, click the X (Close) icon to return to the Dashboard.

 

Calculating Projected Sales Percent

Click the Calculate button to recalculate each day's Projected Sales % value for one or more locations based on actual sales using each location's "Historical Driven By" and "Sales Forecasting Based On" Recommended Order settings.
