Recipe Depletion & Costing Matrix

The following matrix summarizes how these settings should be configured by asking two questions that must be answered for each recipe product:

 

• Is the recipe produced on-site using component products from this location?

• If No, then Production Type = “To Order” and POS Decrement= “Item”
• If Yes, then Production Type= “Production”

 

• For recipes being produced on site, is the Net-Chef Daily Prep module being used to do so?

• If No, then POS Decrement = “Component”
• If Yes, then POS Decrement = “Item” (Daily Prep depletes components.)
