Exchange Rates

The Currency Ratios screen, located under General | Currency Ratios, lists the exchange rates used to convert values from one currency to another throughout the application. The user can choose a "Base Currency" from the drop-down list and then enter the ratio to convert other currencies to that base currency. The default ratio is 1.00000, and can be edited as often as necessary to reflect the latest market conditions. The following ratio indicates that there are 0.651 British Pounds in one US Dollar.

Currency Ratio Conversion Formula: Base Currency (1 unit) = Ratio x Currency (1 unit)

Note: When a new currency is added to the Currency Formats table, it will not appear on the Currency Ratios screen until it has been selected as the base currency for a location, vendor, or market.
