Export by Post

Most Enterprise Manager exports are designed to export once per period, after the period is posted, in which case the following steps should be used to create the export files.  

 

  1. Under Interfaces, click Outbound Integrations. A summary screen that lists previous exports will open.
  2. Click the Plus (Add) icon. A pop up box will open.  {Note}Closed: The selections in the pop-up vary slightly depending on which software package is used, but the basic process is the same.
  3. Choose an export type from the Extract drop-down.  {Note}Closed: This field is not pre-populated; you must make a selection to continue.
  4. Choose a Location (or "All") if applicable. (If your user account is linked to a Hierarchy with the "Limit Export Locations" box checked, you will be prompted to select a hierarchy instead of a location.)
  5. Choose the Post Date for which to generate the export file. (If "Extract" = 'Payroll', users will either be prompted to select a Pay Period or a date to export Labor Dates Through, based on Payroll Export Mapping settings.)
  6. Click Export.
  7. After the file is downloaded, click the X (Close) icon to close the pop-up.
  8. To export another file, repeat Steps 2-7.
  9. To download a list of the export batches displayed, click the Printer (Export) icon and select the desired options.
  10. When finished, click the X (Close) icon to exit the screen.
